Hi! I’m Matt

My name is Matt He and I am a Grade 10 student at Churchill Secondary School. I am the founder of Laptop&Me, where we gather and donate old laptops to people who need it. I would like to ask for your help in giving the feeling of software: the future to people who cannot readily purchase it. In addition to donating laptops, I also want to work with community centres to set up class events for community members and children, where we teach them technological skills ranging from Microsoft Office to simple Computer Science. Spreading awareness would be the first step.

For CS&Me, my goals are similar. The focus is switched to software instead of hardware. To me, I found Computer Science a marvellous topic to learn, and I hope this will ignite a spark of curiosity and enthusiasm for all those who are interested in learning as well.

For those who are interested in my Computer Science background, I have started learning Java in Grade 7. I have actually touched the field of Computer Science back in Grade 4, being introduced to the basics of how computer science works. After learning about the fundamentals into Computer Science, I am beginning to explore many amazing topics: Machine Learning, Web Development, and competitive contests. I wish to also share these amazing skills with you!
